Dr. أجاي جيه سوامي

Dr. Ajay J. Swamy is a highly experienced Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over 30 years of service in the Armed Forces and more than 20 years of experience in interventional cardiology. He completed his MBBS and MD from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, and DM in Cardiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has performed more than 16,000 procedures over the last two decades. His expertise includes complex coronary interventions, intracoronary imaging using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), coronary physiology using Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), Resting Full-cycle Ratio (RFR), and Index of Microcirculatory Resistance (IMR), structural heart disease interventions including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and paravalvular leak management, aortic interventions, and pacemaker and cardiac device therapies. Dr. Swamy is recognized for his expertise in advanced interventional cardiology, complex coronary procedures, structural heart disease interventions, and cardiac device therapies. He has contributed to more than 50 publications in national and international journals and has received several national honors and research awards.
