Professor Assistente. Dr. Hakan Kina is a distinguished thoracic surgeon with over 15 years of clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating diseases of the chest. A graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine (Capa), he completed his specialization in Thoracic Surgery at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey’s top centers in this field.

He currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Thoracic Surgery Clinic at Kartal Dr. Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital. Dr. Kına is especially skilled in minimally invasive thoracic procedures, including uniportal and biportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgeries (VATS), mediastinal surgery, and treatment of thoracic trauma.

His academic contributions include numerous national and international publications, conference papers, and chapter authorships in thoracic surgery textbooks. He is also a certified instructor for VATS procedures and actively involved in the training of young thoracic surgeons in Turkey and abroad.
