He completed his medical education and surgical training at the Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, where he consistently ranked first in his university examinations, earning four gold medals.

Dr. Chibber further specialized in urology at the University of Edinburgh, followed by additional training in percutaneous renal surgery and radiology at esteemed institutions such as the St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Hospitals in London and the Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York.

He played a pivotal role in pioneering and teaching PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy), Ureteroscopy, and Laparoscopic Urology in India. He served as the Head of Urology and Renal Transplantation at Grant Medical College and JJ Group of Hospitals for 25 years before continuing his tenure at Jaslok Hospital, where he has been for over 25 years.

Dr. Chibber has been recognized for his contributions with prestigious positions such as President of the Urological Society of India, President of the West Zone Chapter of the USI, and faculty member at the World Congress of Endourology. His expertise in laparoscopic urology has made him a globally invited scholar, with lectures and training sessions conducted in the USA, Europe, UK and Australia.
