Dr. Akcay is a highly respected pediatric endocrinologist with a robust academic and clinical background with 20 years of experience. Since earning his MD in 1995, he has progressed through pediatric specialty training, subspecialty fellowships in pediatric endocrinology, obtaining professorship in 2022. He has over 100 domestic and international publications and has authored/edited 50+ medical books.
He holds active membership in several professional organizations: Istanbul Medical Chamber, Turkish Pediatric Endocrine & Diabetes Association, Turkish Pediatrics Association, and Traditional Medical Science Association. Additionally, he serves as editor or assistant editor for multiple national and international medical journals. Dr. Akcay practices bilingually (Turkish/English) and is known for his compassionate, evidence-based approach.
