Prof. Vecih Oduncu

Prof. Yakup Cil, MD is a distinguished specialist in aesthetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery, renowned for his academic and surgical excellence. After completing his medical education at Gulhane Military Medical Academy in 1999, he pursued specialization in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the same institution. With a robust background in both clinical and academic medicine, Prof. Cil has served in pivotal roles, including as Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor, contributing significantly to the field through both practice and education.

He further honed his expertise through international training, notably in Cleveland, Ohio, and was recognized with the title of Professor in 2019. Over the years, Prof. Cil has performed more than 7000 surgeries, covering a wide range of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. He has held leadership positions in several Turkish medical institutions and was instrumental in setting up advanced surgery departments.

In addition to his clinical work, he is a member of several professional societies and has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals. Prof. Cil is currently practicing at Memorial Bahcelievler Hospital, one of Istanbul's leading medical centers.
