Prof. Dr. Halil Turkoglu

Prof. Dr. Halil Türkoğlu is a highly respected Cardiovascular Surgeon in Turkey with more than three decades of experience in performing complex heart and vascular procedures. He currently serves as a Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Medipol Mega University Hospital, Istanbul, one of the leading medical centers in Turkey known for advanced cardiac care and modern surgical infrastructure.

Prof. Türkoğlu completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and later specialized in Cardiovascular Surgery at the Institute of Cardiology, Istanbul University. He further received board certification in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery, expanding his expertise to treat both adult and congenital heart conditions.

Prof. Türkoğlu is widely recognized for his proficiency in coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve procedures, and advanced vascular interventions. He has played an important role in advancing cardiac surgery techniques and has authored more than 50 scientific publications in the field of cardiovascular medicine. With extensive experience treating complex cardiac conditions, he is known for delivering patient-centered care, high surgical success rates, and the use of modern minimally invasive cardiac techniques.
