Prof. Dr. Emre Sivrikoz

Prof. Dr. Emre Sivrikoz is a highly experienced General Surgeon with specialization in colorectal and laparoscopic surgery. He completed his medical degree from the İstanbul Faculty of Medicine, followed by speciality training in General Surgery, and advanced fellowships at prestigious institutions such as USC Keck School of Medicine (USA) and St. Mark’s Hospital (UK). He is certified by the European Board of Coloproctology.

His clinical expertise spans a wide range of conditions related to the colon, rectum, stomach, gallbladder, and abdominal wall. He integrates modern laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques for colorectal cancers, benign colorectal diseases, hernias, gallbladder diseases, and complex anal/rectal conditions.

He is also actively involved in academic work — authoring 30+ international peer‑reviewed publications, participating in multicenter studies, and contributing to research on outcomes, colorectal cancer survival, surgical safety, and innovations in colorectal surgery.

He has also been recognized in international conferences, including a “Second Prize in Oral Presentation” at the Turkish Colon and Rectum Surgery Congress (May 2015).
