He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery and received advanced training in gastrointestinal (GI) and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgical oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York. He specializes in gastrointestinal and HPB surgical oncology, robotic and minimally invasive cancer surgery, peritoneal surface oncology, HIPEC, and PIPAC. Dr. Gaikwad is recognized for his expertise in complex abdominal cancer surgeries, robotic GI and HPB procedures, and advanced surgical oncology.
