Dr. V R Roopesh Kumar is a distinguished neurosurgeon with over 20 years of experience, specializing in complex brain and spine tumor management. His expertise encompasses skull base surgery (both microscopic and endoscopic), cerebrovascular surgery for aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), carotid endarterectomy, vascular bypass, and minimally invasive cranial and spinal surgeries.

An alumnus of Dr. MGR Medical University and NIMHANS, Dr. Kumar has held prominent positions, including heading the Department of Neurosurgery at JIPMER, where he established state-of-the-art neurosurgical facilities. He has contributed over 52 impactful journal articles and has been a reviewer for various national and international peer-reviewed journals.
