Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan is a distinguished obstetrician and gynaecologist with a thriving clinical practice. Before joining Fortis Healthcare in November 2019, she worked in top corporate hospitals and contributed to research projects with WHO, Safdarjung Hospital, and AIIMS, focusing on maternal mortality and pregnancy-related infections.

Her expertise includes managing adolescent hormonal disorders like PCOD, pre-pregnancy counselling, high-risk pregnancies, and minimally invasive treatments for conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, and fibroids.
