Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan

Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan is a highly experienced MCh Surgical Oncologist with a special focus on Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreatobiliary Oncology, and Peritoneal Surface Malignancy (HIPEC). He completed his MS in General Surgery from Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak and pursued specialized training in Surgical Oncology at prestigious institutions like Dr. B.R.A. IRCH, AIIMS New Delhi, and Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Chauhan has undertaken multiple international fellowships, enhancing his expertise in GI oncology, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery. His training includes fellowships under Prof. Marcus Buechler at Heidelberg (HPB Oncology, Germany) and Dr. T. Subramaneshwar Rao at Indo-American Cancer Institute, Hyderabad (MIS Oncology). He has also been awarded the ESSO Fellowship in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC at Lyon, France, under Prof. Olivier Glehen.

With a career spanning over 17 years, Dr. Chauhan is recognized for his expertise in complex oncological surgeries, including HIPEC, PIPAC, and robotic-assisted procedures. His contributions to medical science include several research publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
