He completed his MS in General Surgery from Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak and pursued specialized training in Surgical Oncology at prestigious institutions like Dr. B.R.A. IRCH, AIIMS New Delhi, and Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Chauhan has undertaken multiple international fellowships, enhancing his expertise in GI oncology, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery. His training includes fellowships under Prof. Marcus Buechler at Heidelberg (HPB Oncology, Germany) and Dr. T. Subramaneshwar Rao at Indo-American Cancer Institute, Hyderabad (MIS Oncology).
