Dr. Swapneel Karne

Dr. Swapneel Karne is a highly skilled and experienced cardiothoracic surgeon with over 15 years of expertise in cardiac surgery. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the prestigious B.J. Medical College, Pune, and further pursued his DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Karne has been honored with the Dr. C S Sadashivam Gold Medal for Academic Excellence by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, reflecting his dedication and excellence in the field.

To enhance his skills, Dr. Karne received specialized training in minimally invasive cardiac surgery at the Heart Center Leipzig, Germany, and mitral valve surgery at the Central Chest Institute of Thailand, Bangkok. His areas of interest include minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS), beating heart total arterial bypass surgery, keyhole valve surgeries, and heart transplant surgery for heart failure patients.
