Dr. Sunil Thanvi

Dr. Sunil Thanvi is a highly experienced interventional cardiologist with more than two decades of experience in cardiac care. He has performed over 45,000 cardiac interventions and specializes in coronary, peripheral, pediatric, and structural heart procedures. He earned his MBBS, MD in Internal Medicine, and DM in Cardiology from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. He has received specialized training in transesophageal echocardiography, pediatric cardiology and interventions, cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Dr. Thanvi is recognized for his expertise in complex coronary interventions, balloon valvuloplasty, pacemaker and automated implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (AICD) implantation, and pediatric cardiac procedures. He was the first doctor in Gujarat to perform pediatric transesophageal echocardiography and has published research in national and international journals.
