Dr. Sumana Premkumar

Dr. Sumana Premkumar is a distinguished Senior Consultant in Radiation Oncology with over 35 years of experience. She completed her MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, in 1988, followed by a DMRT from the Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai, in 1999, and an MD in Radiotherapy from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2002. Dr. Sumana has garnered extensive expertise in external beam radiation and brachytherapy, having worked in both government and private hospitals. She has also been involved in teaching postgraduate students, contributing significantly to the academic field. Her dedication to oncology has been recognized with the Best Doctor Award from Dr. MGR Medical University in 2012 and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rotary Club in 2019.
