Dr. Subbiah Shanmugam is a distinguished Surgical Oncologist with over 33 years of extensive experience in the field. Throughout his illustrious career, he has performed more than 5,000 major cancer surgeries and 500 laparoscopic cancer surgeries. Dr. Shanmugam has a robust academic background, having published 110 scientific journal articles and delivered numerous orations. He has played a pivotal role in shaping future oncologists by training over 50 M.Ch students.

His commitment to advancing medical education is further evidenced by his memberships in esteemed institutions such as the Institute Body of AIIMS Bibinagar and Madurai, the Board of Governors at IIT Palakkad, and the Court of IISc Bengaluru.
