Dr. Sowjanya Aggarwal

Dr. Sowjanya Aggarwal is a highly skilled and renowned gynecologist with over 18 years of expertise in IVF, infertility treatments, and laparoscopic gynecological surgeries. She serves as the Associate Director & Head of the Department of IVF & Infertility and the Department of Minimal Access Gynae Surgery (Laparoscopic & Robotics) at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali.

She completed her M.B.B.S. from JSS Medical College, Mysore, and M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai. Further refining her skills, she pursued a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery & Reproductive Medicine from Dr. PG Paul, Paul’s Hospital, Cochin.

Dr. Aggarwal is well-known for her expertise in IVF treatments, gynecological endoscopy, and robotic-assisted surgery. She has worked in multiple prestigious institutions, including Max Super Speciality Hospital, Pushpanjali Institute of IVF & Infertility, and international hospitals in Uganda and Uzbekistan. She has also played a pivotal role in training gynecologists at Ethicon Surgical Institute, New Delhi.

She has been the recipient of the IMA Dr. Jagdishwari Mishra Oration Award (2011-12) at IMA CON 2012 and has actively contributed to several international workshops on gynecological endoscopy and infertility treatments.
