Dr. Sohan Lal Broor is a highly respected Senior Consultant in Medical Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endoscopy with over four decades of unmatched expertise in diagnosing and managing complex digestive and liver disorders. He completed his advanced training at the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh (MD and DM) and further refined his knowledge with an international Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA.

Dr. Broor has served in key academic and leadership roles — including Professor & Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at GB Pant Hospital (1985–1997) — and has been deeply involved in shaping gastroenterology training and standards in India. He also served as Secretary and President of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, and chaired research and educational committees at regional and international levels.
