Dr. Sheetal Mahajani is a distinguished Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Internal Medicine specialist with over 33 years of medical experience, including 28 years as a specialist. She currently practices at Sahyadri Hospitals in Pune, where she heads multiple departments, including Hepatology, Transplant Hepatology, Gastroenterology, and GI Endoscopy.

Dr. Mahajani is a pioneer in liver transplantation, having successfully established Pune’s first liver transplant program. She has conducted numerous successful liver transplants and complex gastrointestinal treatments, contributing significantly to advancements in hepatology and gastroenterology. Her expertise extends to advanced endoscopy, liver critical care, digestive cancers, and pancreatobiliary disorders.
