Dr. Sebahattin Atesal

Dr. Sebahattin Atesal is an esteemed interventional cardiologist with 30 years of experience spanning academic institutions, public hospitals, and leading private healthcare centers. A graduate of Ataturk University, he earned his MD in 1981, followed by specialty training in internal medicine in 1986. He completed advanced cardiology qualifications by 1990.

He has served as a professor at Ataturk University's Cardiology Department and held senior roles at Erzincan State Hospital, Medical Park Fatih Hospital, and Medicana International.

An expert in minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Atesal performs high-complexity interventions including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), MitraClip therapy, EVAR for aneurysms, chronic total occlusion treatment, coil embolization, and closure of congenital defects like ASD/VSD and PFO.

He holds memberships in the Turkish Cardiology Association, European Society of Cardiology, and Turkish Medical Association, and has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications in interventional cardiology. He actively participates in international and Turkish cardiology conferences.
