He earned his MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune and completed his DNB (General Surgery) at KEM Hospital, Pune. He also holds an MRCS (UK) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and has advanced training in laparoscopic surgery from India and abroad.
