Dr. Samir Rajadhyaksha

Dr. Samir Rajadhyaksha is a distinguished rheumatologist with over 31 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatic diseases. He completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital in Mumbai in 1993, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion, Mumbai in 1999. To further enhance his expertise, he obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Rheumatology from the Royal College of Physicians, London, in 2011.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Rajadhyaksha has held several prominent positions, including serving as a Consultant Rheumatologist at S.L. Raheja Hospital in Mumbai and Seven Hills Hospital. His international experience encompasses roles such as Specialty Registrar in Rheumatology at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK and Clinical Fellow in the Department of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore.

Dr. Rajadhyaksha is proficient in the use of Disease-Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs (DMARDs) and biologic therapies, ensuring comprehensive care for his patients. He has actively contributed to medical education by organizing Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for general practitioners and conducting patient education initiatives to raise awareness about rheumatic diseases.

His dedication to advancing rheumatology is evident through his research contributions, including publications on cartilage injury markers in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, as well as studies on conduction block in systemic lupus erythematosus patients.
