Dr. Desai pursued his post-graduation in orthopedics at J. J. Hospital and Grant Medical College, Mumbai, where he developed a strong foundation in the field. His interest in paediatric orthopedics was further cultivated under the mentorship of Dr. A.N. Johari, a well-respected paediatric orthopedic surgeon. His thesis focused on the etiology and management of recurrent clubfoot, a condition he has since specialized in treating.
To enhance his expertise, Dr. Desai completed international fellowships in paediatric orthopedics in Seoul, Korea, and in cerebral palsy and gait laboratory studies under Prof. Kerr Graham at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.
