Dr. Rinkesh Kumar Bansal

Dr. Rinkesh Kumar Bansal is an esteemed gastroenterologist and hepatologist, currently serving as an Additional Director at the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepato Biliary Sciences at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram. Since August 2017, he has been contributing to the institute with his expertise in Transplant Hepatology, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and advanced endoscopy techniques.

Before joining Fortis, he worked at Medanta The Medicity, Gurugram, as an Associate Consultant in the Institute of Digestive and Hepato Biliary Sciences. His experience also includes tenure at Fortis Escorts Liver and Digestive Disease Institute, New Delhi, where he handled complex cases of digestive disorders and liver diseases.

With around 50 publications in national and international journals, he is a respected voice in his field. His research includes groundbreaking studies on Endoscopic Ultrasound-Guided Fine-Needle Aspiration, liver disorders, and novel approaches in therapeutic endoscopy.
