Dr. Ravindra B. S. is a highly experienced Director & HOD of Gastroenterology at Fortis Hospital, BG Road, Bengaluru, with over 15 years of extensive experience in Medical Gastroenterology, Interventional Endoscopy, and Hepatology. He completed his MBBS, MD, DNB, and DM in Gastroenterology. He specializes in gastroenterology, liver diseases, pancreatic diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, and advanced endoscopic procedures. Dr. Ravindra is a pioneer in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), with more than 10,000 procedures, and has expertise in ERCP, SpyGlass Cholangioscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Enteroscopy, and third-space endoscopic procedures. He is also recognized for being the first to use GI bleed stents in Karnataka and for training gastroenterologists through international workshops, GI masterclasses, and fellowship programs.
