Dr. Ravi Kumar R is a distinguished interventional cardiologist and transplant specialist with over 36 years of medical expertise. As the Senior Consultant and Associate Clinical Lead at MGM Healthcare’s Institute of Heart and Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support, he has been at the forefront of pioneering cardiac care in India.

His extensive experience encompasses heart transplant management, immunosuppression therapy, and the treatment of advanced heart failure using cutting-edge technologies such as Impella pumps, endomyocardial biopsies, and left ventricular assist devices (LVADs). Dr. Kumar has also been pivotal in integrating biomarkers like NT-proBNP and ARNi class drugs into heart failure management protocols.
