Dr. Ravi Kale

Dr. Ravi Kale is a highly experienced Professor of Surgery & Pediatric Surgeon with over 37 years of expertise in the field. He completed his MBBS and MS (Surgery) from AFMC, Pune, followed by an M.Ch in Pediatric Surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi. He also holds FIAPS from the Indian Academy of Pediatric Surgery.

Dr. Kale is well-recognized for his contributions to pediatric surgery, particularly in minimal access and reconstructive procedures. He is a respected member of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons (IAPS).

Throughout his career, he has received several military commendations, including the Chief of Army Staff Commendation and GOC-in-C Commendation for his service during the Kargil War. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kale has held prestigious positions, such as President of IAPS CUK & UP (2017-18) and Advisor to the UPSC. He is also an assessor and inspector for MCI, evaluating medical colleges for teaching standards.

He has made significant contributions to medical literature, serving on the editorial boards of MJAFl, JIAPS, and the Journal of Pediatric Urology, and has authored numerous publications in national and international journals.
