Dr. Ramesh Uddarraju is a Junior Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist with experience in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders. He completed his MBBS from ASRAM Medical College, Eluru, MD in Internal Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and DM in Medical Gastroenterology from IMS & SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar. He also holds MRCP (UK) – Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. He specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, functional gastrointestinal disorders, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, chronic liver disease and cirrhosis, acute-on-chronic liver failure, pancreatitis, biliary obstruction, and biliary malignancies. He is also experienced in endoscopy, colonoscopy, variceal ligation, sclerotherapy, stricture dilation, polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), luminal stenting, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), enteroscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and manometry studies.
