Dr. Rakesh Chugh is a highly experienced Director & Head of Department (HOD) of Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery with expertise in complex cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgeries. He completed his MBBS from UCMS & GTB Hospital, New Delhi, MS in General Surgery from Safdarjung Hospital & Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, and DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi, along with a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS) from Leipzig, Germany. He has successfully performed more than 4,000 cardiac surgeries and specializes in complex cardiac lesions, left main disease, redo CABG, redo valve surgery, minimally invasive CABG, AVR, MVR, carotid endarterectomy, vascular and endovascular procedures, as well as thoracic surgeries including decortication, lobectomies, and VATS.
