Dr. Rajiv Parakh

Dr. Rajiv Parakh is a world‑renowned vascular and endovascular surgeon with over three and a half decades of clinical excellence in treating complex arterial and venous disorders. He completed his medical education and surgical training at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, followed by his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in the United Kingdom. After training internationally, he returned to India and established one of the first independent departments of vascular surgery in the country in 1990, laying the foundation for modern vascular care in India.

Dr. Parakh has served in leading academic and surgical roles for decades and is widely recognized for his clinical leadership, innovation in minimally invasive vascular techniques, and commitment to patient care.

His expertise spans peripheral arterial disease, endovascular aneurysm repair, carotid interventions, limb salvage, and complex revascularization surgeries. He has also played a pivotal role in vascular surgery education and training programmes, including serving as National Convener for the National Board of Examiners’ vascular surgery program.
