Dr. Rajan Shah

Dr. Rajan Shah is regarded as one of India’s leading neurosurgeons, with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. He currently serves as the Director and Head of Neurosurgery at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Shah has successfully operated on over 8000 brain tumors with a surgical mortality rate of less than 1%, showcasing his surgical precision and clinical expertise.

He holds an M.Ch in Neurosurgery and is an alumnus of J.J. Hospital & Grant Medical College, Mumbai. His advanced training includes specialized courses in cerebral vascular and skull base surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Republic of Ireland, and further expertise gained at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York (USA), and Fujita Health University Hospital, Japan.
