Dr. Punit Singla

Dr. Punit Singla is a highly acclaimed Liver Transplant and HPB Surgeon currently serving as Director and Head of Department at Marengo Asia Hospitals, Faridabad (NCR). Having completed his MBBS from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, and MS from SPMC, Bikaner, Dr. Singla further pursued a DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, and a specialized fellowship in Liver Transplant from Medanta-The Medicity, Gurugram.

Dr. Singla has been instrumental in establishing and strengthening liver transplant programs across renowned institutions, including Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, and Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana. He has rich expertise in complex HPB surgeries, pediatric liver transplants, ABO-incompatible liver transplants, and urgent transplants for acute liver failure. A pioneer in minimal invasive liver surgeries, he is deeply respected for his technical skill and leadership in developing India’s first independent living donor liver transplant program in Punjab.

He is an active member of prestigious medical associations like IASG (Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology), ASI (Association of Surgeons of India), LTSI (Liver Transplantation Society of India), ILTS (International Liver Transplant Society), and AMASI.

Dr. Singla has mentored many upcoming liver transplant surgeons and continues to contribute significantly to liver transplant programs nationwide.
