Dr. Prem Prakash Varma

Dr. (Lt. Gen.) Prem Prakash Varma is a highly experienced Principal Director of Nephrology & Renal Transplant with over 30 years of experience in nephrology and more than 37 years of service in the Indian Army. He is a DM/DNB teacher and examiner with over two decades of experience. He has expertise in kidney transplantation, chronic kidney disease (CKD), dialysis, glomerulonephritis, and preventive nephrology. He initiated renal transplant programs at Command Hospitals in Pune and Kolkata, as well as at Venkateshwar Hospital and Primus Hospital, New Delhi, and has performed over 1,000 renal transplants and renal biopsies.
