Dr. Pravin Tukaram Survashe

Dr. Pravin Tukaram Survashe is a highly experienced Consultant in Neurosurgery with around 16 years of experience in neurosurgery and neurointervention. He completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and M.Ch in Neurosurgery. He specializes in microneurosurgery, minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, neuro-oncology, pediatric neurosurgery, cerebrovascular surgery, neurointervention, hydrocephalus treatment, skull base neurosurgery, peripheral nerve surgery, and complex spine surgery. Dr. Survashe has expertise in advanced neuroendovascular procedures, including aneurysm coiling, carotid stenting, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and arteriovenous malformation (AVM) embolization, as well as endoscopic brain and spine surgeries. He has approximately 25 national and international publications and has been invited as faculty at national and international neurosurgery meetings. He is also credited with developing the Velho and Survashe procedure for hydrocephalus and has performed surgery for one of the longest spinal tumors, proposed for registration in the Limca Book of Records.
