Dr. Prashant Prakashrao Patil is a highly experienced Senior Consultant Interventional Pediatric Cardiologist with over 22 years of experience in diagnosing and treating pediatric heart conditions. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pediatrics from the same institution. He also completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care and a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru. He specializes in pediatric cardiac interventions, including device closure procedures for atrial septal defect (ASD), ventricular septal defect (VSD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), and ruptured sinus of Valsalva (RSOV), as well as balloon valvuloplasty, stenting, fetal echocardiography, and advanced cardiac imaging. Dr. Patil has performed more than 600 pediatric cardiac interventions, over 1,000 cardiac catheterizations, and more than 200 balloon valvuloplasty and stenting procedures.
