Dr. Pradyumna J. Oak is a distinguished neurologist and currently serves as the Director and Head of Neurology at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. He is one of the leading experts in Stroke and Interventional Neurology in India. Dr. Oak has pioneered advanced neurovascular care and was instrumental in establishing a state-of-the-art stroke unit with a Door-to-Needle time of less than 30 minutes—setting new benchmarks in emergency neurological response.

He also played a key role in developing India’s first Hub & Spoke model of Rapid-AI powered Stroke Imaging to enhance accessibility and quality of stroke care in the community. Dr. Oak is one of the few neurologists in India proficient in performing critical neuro-interventions for stroke and related disorders. He has previously managed stroke units at Global Hospital, Parel and held academic roles at Seth G. S. Medical College, KEM Hospital, and BLY Nair Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Oak is also a founder-member of the Society of Neuro-Vascular Intervention (SNVI), a national platform dedicated to education, fellowships, and advocacy for neurovascular care.
