Dr. Pradeep Deshpande

Dr. Pradeep Deshpande is a highly experienced Senior Consultant in Nephrology with 30 years of medical experience in diagnosing and managing complex kidney disorders. He completed his MBBS, MD in General Medicine, and DNB in Nephrology. He specializes in managing acute and chronic kidney disease, dialysis, kidney transplantation, and other renal disorders. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Nephrology at Osmania Medical College and Hospital for 10 years and as Professor and Head of the Department of Nephrology at Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Hyderabad, for more than 20 years. He also served as Dean of Gandhi Medical College for three years and as Additional Director of Medical Education in Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Deshpande has contributed significantly to advancing kidney care, including helping establish the kidney transplant program at Gandhi Medical College in 1999. He is recognized for his contributions to nephrology education, kidney transplantation, dialysis services, and chronic kidney disease awareness.
