He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from TN Medical College and Nair Hospital, Mumbai, where he notably secured the first position in both the University of Mumbai and the FCPS examination. He further honed his expertise in Urology at the University of Edinburgh's Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh. 

Dr. Chibber has been instrumental in pioneering and teaching percutaneous renal surgery (PCNL), ureteroscopy, and laparoscopic urology in India. His vast experience includes over 2,000 successful PCNL procedures. He has held esteemed positions such as Honorary Professor and Head of Urology and Renal Transplantation at Grant Medical College and the JJ Group of Hospitals for 25 years. Additionally, he has been associated with Jaslok Hospital for over 25 years and currently serves as the Director of Urology at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai, and as a Senior Consultant Urologist at Breach Candy Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai.
