Dr. Pankaj R. Shah

Dr. Pankaj R. Shah is a highly experienced Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician with over 40 years of experience in nephrology, kidney transplantation, and transplantation immunology. He completed his MD (General Medicine) from B.J. Medical College, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, followed by DNB (Nephrology) under the mentorship of Prof. H. L. Trivedi at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre & Institute of Transplantation Sciences (IKDRC-ITS), Ahmedabad, and holds FISOT (Transplantation). Dr. Shah specializes in kidney transplantation, dialysis & transplantation immunology, Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD), hypertension, and septicemia. He is widely recognized for performing more than 6,500 kidney transplantations, including 600+ cadaver kidney transplants, and for his outstanding contributions to nephrology education, transplantation, and advanced kidney care.
