Dr. P. Jagannath

Dr. P. Jagannath is a distinguished Surgical Oncologist with over three decades of experience, renowned for pioneering hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery in India. He completed his MBBS at Kurnool Medical College and his MS in General Surgery from the University of Madras. Dr. Jagannath has held prestigious positions, including Professor of Surgical Oncology and Chief of Gastrointestinal Services at Tata Memorial Hospital, Consultant at Jaslok Hospital, and Chairman of Surgical Oncology at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre.

His contributions to gastrointestinal surgical techniques, such as introducing sphincter conservation and the use of staplers, have been significant. He is also actively involved in community service, having founded the website "www.indiacancer.org" to promote cancer awareness and established the 'Crusade against Cancer Foundation' to support cancer patients, especially children.
