Dr. Oya Ercan

Dr. Oya Ercan is a distinguished pediatric endocrinologist renowned for her expertise in treating hormonal and metabolic disorders in children and adolescents. A graduate of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa (1975–1981), she trained in pediatrics and later specialized in pediatric endocrinology at the same institution. Following a visit to Middlesex Hospital, London (1992–1993), she became Professor in 2000.

She has authored over 160 peer-reviewed scientific publications, led at least 10 funded projects, and regularly presents nationally and internationally. As a former Deputy Head of KABI (Turkey) and Principal Investigator of the HBSC Turkey project, her wide-ranging research spans T1D, growth disorders, obesity, thyroid disease, and adrenal pathology.
