Dr. Nuvit Sarimurat

Dr. Nuvit Sarimurat is one of Turkey’s most accomplished pediatric surgeons, with a medical career that spans more than 45 years. He obtained his medical degree and specialization in pediatric surgery from the prestigious Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with academic institutions and top-tier hospitals, both nationally and internationally, including the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.

He specializes in the surgical treatment of congenital and acquired pediatric conditions, including Hirschsprung’s disease, intestinal atresia, bowel obstructions, and pleural infections. He is renowned for pioneering work in minimally invasive pediatric surgery, including laparoscopy and thoracoscopy.

Dr. Sarimurat has published over 35 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a frequent speaker at global medical conferences. He is a respected member of several medical societies including the Turkish Association of Pediatric Surgeons, Turkish Thoracic Society, Turkish Pediatric Association, and Istanbul Tuberculosis Association.
