He further honed his skills in Clinical Hematology in the UK, earning multiple prestigious qualifications such as MRCP (UK), MRCPath, F.R.C. (Pathology), and CCT in Haemato Oncology.
Dr. Sood has an extensive professional background, having served in various capacities across renowned institutions in the UK. His roles have included Senior Registrar positions in Hematology at MID York’s NHS Trust, Bradford Royal Infirmary, Hull Royal Infirmary, and St. James Hospital in Leeds. He also held specialist registrar roles in Pediatric Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sood has been actively involved in several esteemed medical organizations, including the Royal College of Physicians (London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow), UK Myeloma Forum, British Society of Haematology, American Society of Haematology, and the Lymphoma Forum of the UK.
His contributions to the field have been recognized with numerous awards, such as the Senior Research Fellowship by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in 2002, First Prize for a research paper presentation by the British Society of Haematology in 2009, and a bursary from the UK Myeloma Forum under the American Society of Haematology (ASH) in 2011.
