Dr. Niren Dongre is a highly experienced Consultant – Ophthalmology (Retina Specialist) with over 22 years of experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex retinal disorders. He completed his MBBS, DO, DNB, and Retina Fellowship (FMRF) from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Dr. Dongre specializes in retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular hole, epiretinal membranes, age-related and hereditary macular degeneration, retinal and vitreous hemorrhage, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), and advanced vitreo-retinal surgeries. He is recognized for his expertise in vitrectomy, scleral buckling, retinal laser procedures, intravitreal injections, and minimally invasive retinal surgery, with extensive experience in managing complex sight-threatening retinal diseases.
