Dr. Nikhilesh Borkar

Dr. Nikhilesh Borkar is a highly esteemed Surgical Oncologist with over two decades of experience, specializing in Breast Surgery, including advanced Oncoplastic techniques, as well as Head and Neck Surgery. He completed his MBBS from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 2004, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 2009, where he stood second in the university and received the best resident award. He further specialized by obtaining an MCh in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, in 2013. 

Dr. Borkar has undergone extensive training, including a two-year GOLF Fellowship in Head & Neck surgery by IFHNOS & MSKCC, New York, USA, under the guidance of Dr. Jatin Shah & Dr. Ashok Saha. He also served as a Senior Clinical Fellow in The Cambridge Breast Unit at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, UK, where he received comprehensive training in all aspects of Breast Surgery and advanced Oncoplastic techniques. 

He holds multiple fellowships and memberships, including DNB in General Surgery, DNB in Surgical Oncology, Fellowship of the European Board of Surgery in Surgical Oncology and Breast Surgery, Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and Fellowship of the International College of Surgeons (FICS). He is also a member of numerous national and international cancer organizations such as ESSO, IASO, ISO, ABSI, FHNO, and ABS.
