Dr. Neelam Mohan

Dr. Neelam Mohan is a globally recognized pioneer in pediatric hepatology, gastroenterology and liver transplantation, especially in children. She is widely credited for establishing one of India’s first structured pediatric liver transplant programs, and is acknowledged for introducing therapeutic endoscopy in newborns and young children in India.

Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to improving children’s liver health through advanced diagnostics, surgical procedures, research and education. Dr. Mohan has an outstanding publication record with over 250 scientific publications and more than 50 book chapters, and has presented her work at over 900 national and international forums. She also serves on several international academic committees, demonstrating her leadership in pediatric gastroenterology and transplant medicine globally.
