Dr. Nasli Ichaporia

Dr. Nasli R. Ichaporia is a highly reputed neurologist and stroke specialist with over 45 years of experience, including 36 years as a specialist. He holds an MBBS and MD from BJ Medical College, Pune, and a DM in Neurology from NIMHANS, Bangalore.

A pioneer in stroke treatment in India, Dr. Ichaporia was instrumental in establishing the first Neuro ICU in Pune and introducing Neuro Intensive Care as a specialized field in the region. His expertise in stroke management is unparalleled, with over 1000 IV & IA thrombolysis procedures performed and the establishment of Pune’s first dedicated stroke unit.

Apart from clinical excellence, Dr. Ichaporia is an avid educator and has conducted over 300 lectures and workshops on stroke. He plays an active role in national and international medical publications and serves as a postgraduate teacher and DNB examiner. He has also held prestigious positions such as the Ex-President of the Society of Neurosciences, Pune, and the Ex-President of the Maharashtra Academy of Neurology.
