Dr. (Prof.) M.V. Padma Srivastava is a globally recognized neurologist and neurosciences expert with a distinguished career spanning over four decades. She is highly regarded for her pioneering contributions to acute stroke care programs, especially the implementation of hyperacute thrombolysis strategies that have revolutionized stroke treatment protocols across India.

Dr. Srivastava has served as Head of Neurology and Chief of the Neurosciences Centre at AIIMS, New Delhi, where she played a key role in shaping national guidelines for stroke management and stroke registries aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and prevention strategies. Her work extends across Alzheimer’s disease research, cerebrovascular disorders, epilepsy care, and neuro-rehabilitation planning.
