He is an expert in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) for both pediatric and adult patients and has specialized training in Fetal Echocardiography. Dr. Muthukumaran has extensive experience in complex interventional procedures such as Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) closure, Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) closure, and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) closure.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Muthukumaran is an esteemed member of the General Medical Council (UK) and the Indian Medical Council (India). His special interests include hybrid cardiac procedures, percutaneous valve implantation, and various advanced stenting techniques.
