Dr. Mukesh N. Sharma is a highly experienced Director of Neurointervention & Stroke with over 25 years of experience in neurology and interventional neurology. He completed his MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology) from the Post Graduate Institute (PGI), Chandigarh, followed by a Fellowship in Neurointervention from KEM College, Pune, and an Observership in Neurointervention in South Korea. He is recognized as the first neurophysician in Gujarat to be trained in Interventional Neurology. Dr. Sharma specializes in acute stroke management, intravenous thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), carotid angioplasty and stenting, intracranial artery stenting, aneurysm coiling, flow diverter embolization, AVM embolization, and dural fistula embolization. Throughout his career, he has performed more than 2,000 interventional neurological procedures, including 750+ intravenous thrombolysis procedures, 250+ mechanical thrombectomies, 200+ carotid artery stenting procedures, 200+ aneurysm coiling procedures, 100+ intracranial artery stenting procedures, and 50+ AVM embolization procedures. He has also treated over 15,000 patients with neurological conditions, with a strong focus on advanced minimally invasive neurovascular interventions, comprehensive stroke care, and delivering the best possible neurological outcomes.
