Dr. Mihir Vora

Dr. Mihir Vora is a distinguished Consultant Hepatologist and Liver Transplant Physician at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. He completed his MBBS from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, followed by a DNB in Internal Medicine from Kaushalya Medical Foundation and Jupiter Hospital, Thane. He further honed his expertise through a three-year fellowship in Hepatology, Liver Intensive Care, and Liver Transplantation at Global Hospitals, Mumbai, and an advanced Hepatology fellowship from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

With over 6 years of dedicated experience, Dr. Vora has been instrumental in managing complex cases in hepatology and liver transplantation. He has been a key contributor to more than 500 liver transplant procedures, overseeing comprehensive pre- and post-transplant care. His commitment extends beyond the hospital, conducting multiple outreach programs and satellite OPDs across Western India.

Dr. Vora's academic excellence has been recognized through various awards and scholarships. He has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences, including notable work on recidivism in post-liver transplant patients at the AASLD/EASL Monothematic Conference. His special interests encompass acute-on-chronic liver disease, acute liver failure, optimizing patients on transplant waitlists, refractory ascites, nutritional management of cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma.

He is an active member of esteemed societies such as the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), Indian National Association for the Study of the Liver (INASL), Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI), and the Zonal Transplant Coordination Committee.
